When you run Kartris on a local computer (http://localhost/kartris/), you may see an error similar to the following:
It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.
This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.
This is because the folder has not been set to be an application within IIS (Internet Information Services - the Microsoft web server). It is simple to remedy. First open IIS (you will find this under 'Administrative Tools') and then right click the 'Kartris' folder to show the properties dialog:
Click the 'Create' button which is just right of the 'Default Application' box. Refresh Kartris in the browser and you should see the error clear. If you see a different error, then please consult the knowledgebase again.
